Robert Drucker was born in New York City in 1955. He studied mathematics and engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1986. He began painting in 1989 and has exhibited in galleries in Seattle and the Pacific northwest since 1996. His work is included in several prominent private and public collections. Drucker also serves as a research scientist at the University of Washington and is the author of numerous papers in major scientific journals in the field of polar oceanography (for a list of his scientific work, please see http://polar.ocean.washington.edu.)
